Artist Bio

Kevin Price started playing guitar as a teenager in the western Oklahoma town of Clinton. Growing up in a musical family where Kevin’s father and grandfather were both very accomplished guitar players and band leaders. Fast forward to January 2016, Kevin took the stage in Tulsa for the first time at the Venue Shrine. Since that day he has performed shows all around the midwest United States performing at venues with bigger name artists’ such as Jo Dee Messina, Casey Donahew, Chris Lane, Mike McClure, Ben Miller, etc.. Some of his personal favorite events at which he has performed include playing at Bouchercon 2019 for best selling author, James Patterson, playing at Pioneer Woman’s Patriotic Party on the Prairie on July 4th, 2019, playing events for the PGA & Senior PGA tours at Southern Hills Country Club, multiple years playing at Tulsa Oktoberfest, performing for the 2022 & 2023 Berry Pre-Coon Supper fund raising event for Arkansas State University and playing a fundraiser for the movie XVII Carvings. March of 2019 held some significant milestones for KP. On March 8th, the first ever full band show for The Kevin Price Band was held at Renaissance Brewery in Tulsa. Then on March 29th he was part of a songwriter workshop led by long time Red Dirt music great Mike McClure and the amazing songwriter Jamie Lin Wilson. As part of the experience Kevin got to record at the famous Boohatch Studio and he ended up booking more time and recorded the EP entitled Widow Maker. The title track of which is written about Kevin’s own brush with death when he had a heart attack at age 44. He jokes that the best thing that came from the experience was having new song ideas.
